April 1, 2009: World Bioenergy recruits new manager – and arranges a new event

Elmia has recruited Jakob Hirsmark as project manager for World Bioenergy. Mr Hirsmark has a M.Sc. Forestry degree and has held several different jobs in the bioenergy sector. He comes from a position as product manager for Neova, Sweden's largest solid biofuel supplier, but he is also known from his work for the Swedish Bioenergy Association (Svebio) in Stockholm.
He replaces Alan Sherrard, who now works for European Enterprise Network, but who will also work as project manager for the event “World Bioenergy - Clean Vehicles & Fuels 2009”, held in Stockholm and organized by Elmia, Svebio and CVF. (CVF = Clean Vehicles & Fuels, which consists of the City of Stockholm plus a number of industry associations that focus on renewable fuels for vehicles).
