What may a wheat kernel wish for or what may a miller or the consumer, concerned with food safety, wish for? With Similago joining the Alapala family, milling technology has been redefined.
Similago is founded on its operational speed, its safety, hygiene and precision.
These features have been merged in an optimal way to produce the new Similago – a machine that has already achieved a certain status symbol.
The disassembling of a roll set and the assembling of another can be performed in 20 minutes; the roll set can be lifted via a mechanism used on every machine without utilising an external lifting mechanism; furthermore, in the assembling stage, all modifications can be achieved without the use of any special tools.
Hygienic conditions have been applied to all internal surfaces to the utmost degree and, apart from conventional feeding systems, this device provides the opportunity to perform rapid cleaning using a vacuum cleaner or by ‘wiping out’ up to the dismountable inlet compartment. This compartment can be opened forwards and upwards automatically and can be easily cleaned by opening the cover on top without having to perform any other process; thus the compartment is dismounted easily from below the feeding roll and from the main rolls.
Users do not look into the machine from behind a glass cover anymore and do not have to open a glass cover to clean external surfaces.
This is a standard structure that can be applied to a standard chassis on a single-deck or double-deck model; moreover, on the same body, a montage of 250mm and 300mm rolls can be implemented.
Especially setting and positioning precision of roll spaces and the position repeat precision have achieved values that could not be accomplished until now and this provides an opportunity for top setting automation on the same structure.
However, feeding automation is performed using several different methods, and this has been addressed with a user-friendly system requiring no re-calibration for different products. Practical use is achieved through special software solutions, graphics and a touch-screen; so what else may a wheat kernel, a miller or the consumer wish for? Power, durability, simplicity is comprehensible by anybody; its aesthetic, additional performance and additional efficiency are its extra advantages.
