December 9, 2009: First Ukraine international exhibition for animal farming
With the support of more than 25 leading companies in the animal farming industry, Animal Farming Ukraine is setting a new standard,” says it organisers.
Animal Farming Ukraine 2010 will take place from September 29 – October 1 2010. Animal Farming Ukraine 2010 will present the entire range of products in the field of animal farming and directly related businesses.
Animal Farming Ukraine 2010 is the first exhibition in Ukraine dedicated exclusively to animal farming. Until now animal farming topics have been incorporated within broader agricultural exhibitions. Animal Farming Ukraine 2010, however, is the one and only dedicated platform for animal farming business in Ukraine.
The exhibition is the result of an exclusive co-operation between CIS Exhibitions BV (The Netherlands), Victam International (The Netherlands) and 28 leading companies from the Animal Farming Industry who officially support this event. A strong local partner and project manager in Kiev is the CoD Company Ltd which will take care of local sales and organisation.
Among the companies that officially support this event are: Big Dutchman International, Hog Slat Europe, Jansen Poultry Equipment, JSR Genetics, Nedap Velos, PPH Polnet, Schauer Agrotronic GmbH, Tavsan Poultry Equipment, Texha, The GSI Group (Europe), Topigs, UPB, Van Hoof Ukraine and more.
Ukraine, with its low labour costs, highly educated population and a huge agricultural area generating low cost of animal feed, is considered to be an important potential supplier of meat to Western Europe. This, and the fact that the Ukrainian livestock market is rapidly developing, means that there is a huge potential for western suppliers in all sectors of animal farming products.
For example, poultry production is expected to grow by almost 50 per cent during 2009-13 and Ukraine now only produces 44 percent of the local consumption of pork.
One of the key elements in the visitor promotion campaign of Animal Farming Ukraine is the launch of a special ‘Animal Farming Ukraine Magazine’ which will be published twice a year. The magazine (in the Ukrainian language) will be published each year in February and September. The circulation will be some 15,000 copies and will be sent to all subscribers of the Ukrainian magazine Agroexpert and to a high quality database of Ukrainian animal farming businesses. Agroexpert will be the main media partner in Ukraine.
“We are pleased to announce that Victam International will organise the Victam Ukraine Pavilion during Animal Farming Ukraine 2010,” say the organisers.
“Victam International is known as the world's leading trade show for the feed, grain and biomass industries and include areas of animal feed production, storage and handling of animal feed related products, Biomass technology and additives and ingredients for animal feed.
Another strong added value of Animal Farming Ukraine 2010 is the extensive conference program, which will be organised within the framework of the exhibition. The conference is organised by professionals who are well connected and have many years of experience within the livestock industry.
The conference will attract 150 – 250 key players from the livestock industry and will give them information that reaches from the latest economic trends on livestock and poultry to information on commodity prices, forecasts and outlooks. Furthermore, it will address topics such as meeting European standards and how a realistic perspective on sustainability can be gained for the entire meat chain.
Animal Farming Ukraine 2010 will be organised in pavilion 3 of the International Exhibition Center on Brovarskiy Prospekt. The ‘IEC’ is conveniently located and only 10 minutes away from the old city centre
