4B Drop Forged Chains All 4B forged chains are extremely durable 
and abrasion resistant thanks to a process of heat treatment (to Rockwell C57 with a ductile core hardness of Rockwell C40) and can be used even for the toughest applications. Steel flights of various designs are welded to the links enable many varying material types to be conveyed.

November 19, 2008: VIV China 2008: the future is bright
VIV China is still following an upward trend. The exhibition took place from October 20-22, 2008 at the New China International Exhibition Center. The 446 exhibitors at the biennial international Feed-to-Meat trade show welcomed 19,035 visitors from 75 countries. The exhibitors rated the show with a 7.0, expressing their appreciation about the improved quality of the visitors. The show confirmed its role as the leading event for the animal husbandry sector in China.

November 19, 2008: New UK agent appointed for Innovative feed moisture management package
C&H Nutrition has become the UK distributor for the unique on-line moisture sensoring system and product dosing package that manufacturer Adiveter claims can optimise feed pelleting efficiency and reduce energy consumption. C&H Nutrition sister company Brown and Gilmer becomes the Adiveter agent in Ireland.

On the 15th of September 2008, the EUropean FEed TEchnology Center, EUFETEC, was launched officially. In the presence of the Minister-President of Flanders, Mr Peeters, and a representative of the cabinet of Minister Laruelle, Federal Minister of SME, Selfemployment, Agriculture and Science Policy, the different international partners signed the inaugural act.

Cargill's new wheat processing plant at Trafford Park, Manchester, opened in April. Some £75 million was invested in the plant to convert it from processing French maize to British wheat.
