Our publications have been a part of the milling for over a century (MAG first published in 1891) and we have a believe that the only way that we can strenghten the industry and ensure its health and survival for the next hundered years is to give something back. This is why we have become actively involved in several industry conferences and expos around the world, ensuring continued development in established contries and growth and security in developing ones.

We have a deep commitment to our readers and our advertisers. We believe in quality information and quality design, just as you believe in the quality of your products. And we are immensely proud of our unique heritage - Grain & Feed Milling Technology has been published since 1891, when the magazine was first published under the name Milling.
Today, our readers are located all over the world and we reflect this global scope in our features and news items. From our roots in the flour and feed mills of the British Isles, we write for a global audience on issues that span the supply chain, from the farmers who grow the cereals and other crops, to the equipment manufacturers and service suppliers who support them, and the food manufacturers and livestock farmers who buy their products.
Each issue looks at key technology developments and commodity and market trends and we report on a full cross-section of milling matters that influence the structure and efficient operation of the industry today.

The November - December 2014 edition is the last time this magazine will be published under the name 'Grain & Feed Milling Technology'! From January 2015 we will be know as 'Milling and Grain' - and will be published monthly. The reasons for the change is spelt out on the opposite pages. But, here, I would like to record my thanks to all our faithful readers and advertisers for their support for GFMT for more than 30 years. We hope you approve of our decision to revert to our historic name of 'Milling' - with the addition of that most important word 'Grain' - to reflect our future focus.
